December 3, 2012
We took this picture from the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We have socials every other month in our branch. For the social in December, our branch had a dinner catered for everyone. It was very nice. We are treated really good.
December 14, 2012 - Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert
We sat on the 5th row in the Conference Center. Sister Williams, Appel & Christensen - full time missionaries on the International Floor.
December 15, 2012 - Elijah Choir Concert in the Assemble Hall
Dot at the organ in the Assembly Hall. Notice the tv monitor on the organ. This is how I watched the conductor who was at the front of the stage. The organ is at the back.

Church Office Building

Dot was able to play Christmas music for 1 hour in this building.
Some of our missionary friends came to listen to me.
I was very impressed that they came. Very fun!
Brother & Sister
LaVerna came to the library to visit us before Christmas.
The tree was decorated with pictures of the missionaries ancestors. It was a beautiful tree.
Christmas decorations in our apartment
We received a lot of Christmas cards this year. It was very fun to be remembered.
Our friend Carrie Carlson gave Dot these Christmas stockings that said 'Elder' & 'Sister'
We bought the tree at Walmart and got the decorations at our monthly swap meet for free. We bought 2 wreaths at DI for $1 each to complete our decorations for 2012.
Jeanna, Jason, Jake & Sam Eggers
came for Christmas
Christmas morning.
It was so nice to have the Eggers spend Christmas with us.
We use grocery carts to get everything from the car to the apt.
We let Jeanna & Jason use our parking spot in the garage.
It snowed a lot while they were here. Jake really wanted snow and we got it the day they arrived and then more and more and more. We only have 1 snow tool and Boyd was getting the snow out of the bed of the truck with that so Dot used the sun shade to clean off the front. It worked really good. You have to be creative when you are not used to snow.
Went to Ogden to visit Boyd's mother. The roads were not cleared off. Got stuck in the snow bank. Thanks to a Good Samaritan who helped us get out of it.
